In Celebration of Women & Creativity

Trail Writing for Women I & II*

Saturday March 6, 20

9 am – 3 pm

$25/session, $10 off for both hiking/writing events

*Includes a copy of the forthcoming Trail Writer’s Guide by Cinny Green, Illustrated by Maureen Burdock (Western Edge Press 2010, $15 value)

Join writer Cinny Green as she links elements of writing craft to moments of quiet, creative inspiration in the wilderness, and the wilderness of your imagination. On each trail, leave behind clichéd metaphors, facile emotions, and manufactured imagery of our culture and let the rudiments of nature inspire your creativity. Discover your unique Writer’s Trails: the pattern of your words, the music of your language, and your deepest intentions.

With each step, you become more solid. As you become more solid, you are more free .... As your solidity and freedom grow stronger, you begin to touch the ground of your being. —Thich Nhat Hanh
